The Swiss Luxury Watch giant Omega has recently unveiled their first UK boutique outside of the London. The new flagship store was unveiled in Manchester’s Trafford centre and will soon be open to the public.
Omega cited the huge number of people that visit the Trafford centre each year as one of the primary reasons for selecting it as the location for their new boutique. With an annual footfall of over 30 million and 6 million people living within a forty five minute drive of the gigantic shopping precinct it is the perfect location. Plus, the centre also plays host to the flagship stores of many other prestige brands, so the Omega boutique will be in good company.
The interior of the store has been designed by Omega’s own in-house design team who have gone to great lengths to create an elegant and stylish look for the new store. A porcelain ceiling, champagne coloured walls and matching leather furnishings will set the Omega boutique apart from the other stores in the Trafford centre and will make a perfect environment to display a range of products including Omega watches, jewellery and latest line of leather goods. Prestige goods such as these should be displayed in a way that reflects their superior quality and the Omega designers have created a boutique store that accomplishes this admirably.
It is quite likely that opening a boutique in the North of England will prove to be a successful move on the part of Omega, a belief that was reflected in the statement issued by the company’s president Stephen Urquhart - “We are delighted to be extending our presence to the North of England with the opening of our Manchester Trafford Centre boutique. Manchester is a city that is synonymous with style and innovation – attributes we identify with closely here at Omega.â€
