A True Divers' Watch from Breitling

A timepiece for serious divers and watch enthusiasts in equal measure, the Breitling Seawolf proves itself to be one of the few watches on the market that caters to deep diving, as the water resistance of 3000m will attest to. There are few comparable watches with such a high level of water resistance, which marks out the Seawolf as a specialised and highly practical timepiece.

There are several different features on the Breitling Seawolf that make its incredible water resistance possible. It includes a helium escape valve, essential for diving at these depths, and has an impressive pressure rating of 300 bar. The dimensions of the timepiece add to its robust feel, with the case being 45.4mm in diameter and 18.5mm thick: its hefty size is reassuring rather than unwieldy, and feels comfortable on the wrist. A smaller model would not have the same kind of comforting weight, and would not be anywhere near as durable.

The Breitling Seawolf’s aesthetics also increase the watch’s practicality, as well as giving it an attractive and authentic diving feel. The numbers on the dial were originally in a stencil font which fitted perfectly with the diving theme, and are now also available as batons. There are luminous hands and markers to increase visibility and a date function located at the 3 o’clock marker.

A range of dial colours are available, including black, blue, silver, grey, and yellow, and strap options include rubber, leather, or a metal bracelet, ensuring that the Breitling Seawolf is as handsome as it is practical.
