A Design Classic from Breitling

The Breitling Montbrillant is a stunning watch that evokes a certain sense of class and style, something that is afforded to it by its unique, yet traditional design. This extraordinary time piece is quite clearly styled on the classic Breitling watches of the 1940’s, and accurately reflects the aesthetic of this time period whilst remaining current in terms of performance and the mechanism.

Breitling has been manufacturing high quality time pieces since the company was founded in 1884 and they have become well known for producing watches designed to meet the demands of professional aviators. The Breitling Montbrillant, which is something of an anomaly amongst their current range of sleek, modern chronographs, harks back to the earlier days of the company and is in fact named after Breitling’s first factory, located in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-Fonds.

The finely crafted Breitling Montbrillant will appeal to those who appreciate the undisputedly classic aesthetic and the corresponding attention to detail.  The dial is highly reminiscent of watches produced by Breitling in the past as it has been manufactured using tried and tested methods used for years. In keeping with classic design the case is emblazoned with the Breitling logo that went out of use in the mid twentieth century adding a further element of authenticity to this unusual, but intriguing watch.

Admittedly the strong 1940’s aesthetic may not be to everybody’s taste, but those who find it appealing to are likely to appreciate the extreme attention to detail that has gone into the creation of these watches. Available in limited numbers with either a steel casing with a matching Navitimer bracelet, or in 18k Rose Gold with leather strap the Breitling Montbrillant is likely to snapped up quickly by collectors and those who truly appreciate quintessential, classic design.
