An Early Look at the Bremont Solo 37

At this year’s Baselworld Bremont gave us a small preview of their flagship models for 2012 and all of their exciting new ranges that are about to be released. One of these ranges is an exciting new series that is added to the Bremont Solo collection; the Bremont Solo 37 is a ladies version that is an elegant and attractive addition to the family whilst still packing all of the technical specifications of the original Solo collection.

Baselworld was held just a little over a month ago and with so many new releases and exciting announcements, here at Banks Lyon we are still eager with anticipation about the year ahead. 2012 looks like it is set to be a fantastic year for watch fans and manufacturers alike. Bremont has several exciting pieces of news and announcements for us, but the very attractive new model in the solo collection is one that captured our attention particularly well.

The watches in the Solo range were designed for great legibility, with a minimalistic aesthetic and bold, clear numerals and hands. This legibility is the result of the 1940s pilots watches that Bremont was inspired by; in aviation legibility is not just a convenience but a life saving essential in times of emergency. The scratch resistant sapphire of the models in this range has 9 layers of hardened coating for superior durability, crafted from anti-reflective material and a domed structure allow the beautiful aesthetic of the watch face to be the prominent feature of the Bremont Solo watch.

The ladies model contains the same fine mechanical qualities that has made the range so popular with men so far: the hardened triptick case that provides extraordinary durability, the COSC regulated movement and the exhibition case back allows owners to marvel at the sophisticated mechanics of their new timepiece – the assumption that only men are horological fans is long since outdated. All this fits neatly into the elegant new 37mm case that attractively compliments the wrist.

Aesthetically, there are 3 main options when it comes to selecting the watch-face, though all feature a white dial at the moment. Buyers can choose between silver hands and numerals, rose gold hands and numerals or the full rose gold model that includes a gorgeous rose gold bezel as well as the hands and numerals.

The launch of the Ladies Solo 37 is accompanied by the release of the Solo 43 White for men, which will prove to be a very popular model. This range of Bremont watches, that is already doing incredibly well, will be all the stronger as it attracts customers who were tentative as they waited for a white dial option. This incredible timepiece will make for a wonderful luxury dress watch for the very finest occasions and formal events as it becomes the pride of your collection.
