Breitling's Limited Edition Transocean

The Limited Edition Breitling Transocean that was released in 2010 as part of the celebration of the company’s heritage within the aviation industry.  The limited edition watch was released in a batch of just 2200 units, with 2000 stainless steel versions and just 200 red gold versions.

The Limited Edition Transocean, Yet Another Fine Pilot's Watch from Breitling

The original Breitling Transocean watches were released in the 1950’s as a specialist pilot’s watch. They quickly became popular within the aviation industry, having followed on from the success of the still hugely popular Navitimer collection, which is still considered the flagship collection for Breitling, despite having been released almost 50 years ago. The original Transocean was packed with technology that was designed to make the job of the pilot easier whilst in the air. The incredibly precise chronometer-certified self-winding movement was designed to be perfect for anybody who needed a watch that could maintain the correct time incredibly accurately, but still wanted a stylish design.

The Limited Edition Breitling Transocean pays homage to the watches of the 1950’s and 60’s that established Breitling as one of the world’s leading watch makers. The new watch interprets the classic watches from Breitling in a truly contemporary way, with an understated design, matching perfectly with the slim line bezel and the equally streamlined lugs that fit the shape of the wrist perfectly. With a simplistic, yet eye catching design, the Breitling Transocean is yet another watch from Breitling that epitomises the values the company holds within its watches, uncompromising style with incredibly functionality and durability.
