At BaselWorld 2011, Breitling introduced a slightly redesigned version of their incredibly popular Superocean Heritage collection. The new version offers a middle point between the case sizes of the 2 current models in the collection, the 38 and 46. These two sizes are split perfectly by the Superocean Heritage 42.

The new addition to the Superocean collection is providing something that people have been asking for ever since the very first Heritage watch was launched, with the two case sizes that were made available up until now, there was either a large, over sized 46mm case option that seemed too large and bulky for such a classically designed watch. Conversely the 38mm case model that was offered was deemed too small by many Breitling enthusiasts, who, although enjoyed the traditional design features of the Superocean Heritage, still wanted a larger case to keep the watch looking contemporary.
Aside from the new case size, the Breitling Superocean Heritage 42 is the same as its two predecessors, maintaining the same classic design features that have made the Heritage watches so popular among watch enthusiasts. With the usual design features of a Breitling diver’s watch, including a 200m water resistance and a great luminescent dial designed to be easily read in murky waters.
The Breitling Superocean Heritage 42 is the latest in Breitling’s collection of excellent diver’s watches.
