Normally UTC is shown over the internally rotating 24 hour bezel which is controlled by a crown at the 8 o’clock position of the case. The standard chronograph functions are controlled by pushers on either side of the crown, as is the case with many other aviators’ watches. A date display is also included at 3 o’clock on the face. What makes the ALT1-Z stand out is the incredible ease with which each of these functions is controlled and read by the wearer.
Incorporating Bremont’s renowned modified version of the Valjoux 7754 movement, which is visible through the exhibition case back is especially eye catching, with the skeletonized rotor drawing the interest of a keen collector.
