Bremont, for Pilots by Pilots

The Bremont ALT1-Z is another brilliant aviator’s watch from Bremont, the fast growing UK based watch manufacturer. The ALT1-Z is one of the most popular in the Bremont line up, showcasing exactly what a truly functional aviator’s watch should be.

The ALT1-Z is Another Stunning Aviator's Watch from Bremont

Normally UTC is shown over the internally rotating 24 hour bezel which is controlled by a crown at the 8 o’clock position of the case. The standard chronograph functions are controlled by pushers on either side of the crown, as is the case with many other aviators’ watches. A date display is also included at 3 o’clock on the face. What makes the ALT1-Z stand out is the incredible ease with which each of these functions is controlled and read by the wearer.

Incorporating Bremont’s renowned modified version of the Valjoux 7754 movement, which is visible through the exhibition case back is especially eye catching, with the skeletonized rotor drawing the interest of a keen collector. At a diameter of 43mm, the ALT1-Z is ideally sized for wear in both the cockpit and outside of it, with the usual style the Bremont offers with all their watches, your Bremont ALT1-Z will receive just as much use out of the cockpit as in it. It accomplishes all this while still maintaining all the functionality and technological detail of any other high end pilot’s watch.

The “Z” in the ALT1Z stands for “Zulu time” which is an alternative name for UTC or GMT, this goes along side the other Bremont ALT1 models such as the ALT1-C and the ALT1-P.
