Omega's Special Edition Hour Vision

Omega has recently started a trend for themselves with their support of a series of notable, and worth causes through both sponsorship and lending a helping hand with engineers and other support.

The Beautiful Limited Edition Omega Orbis Hour Vision Blue

The latest of this is their involvement with ORBIS international and it’s Flying Eye Hospital, a charity that has been set up to aid with the prevention of blindness in cases where it is avoidable, which serves many of the world’s most remote areas. A special watch has been designed by Omega to celebrate the new partnership the “Hour Vision Blue”, with Omega offering at least one million dollars from its sales to be donated to ORBIS.

Omega ambassador and James Bond actor Daniel Craig will be visiting the ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital as part of his role with Omega and said in a statement “I think that it’s important to do all that we can to draw attention to the invaluable work that ORBIS is doing. By visiting them in the field and seeing their team at work, I hope we will be able to make more people aware of the issue of preventable blindness and to let them know how much of a difference they can make.”

The Omega Orbis Hour Vision Blue is a special edition of the beautiful Omega Hour Vision watch. With a traditional 41mm stainless steels case and the faultless Omega Co-Axial calibre 8500, the movement that revolutionized how mechanical watches were produced. The intricate movement is in plain view thanks to the sapphire case back.
