Omega launches the beautiful Ladymatic in steel and gold and new coloured dials.

With Basel fair just around the corner we are getting tasters and hints from watch brands of the novelties they will be releasing; the latest is OMEGA watches with their new look Ladymatic available for 2013 in Steel and Gold and new brightly coloured dials for the all steel model.

Since its release in 2010 OMEGA Ladymatic watches have been at the forefront of women’s watch design; a beautifully feminine piece that emanates style and sophistication whilst boasting all the state of the industry mechanics from the Swiss watch brand. Now for 2013 OMEGA have played around with different coloured dials and straps, coupled steel with gold to produce a new look, and a very summery feel, for this beautiful watch.

The new dramatic dials have been created in brown and pure white mother of pearl, purple, sky blue, pink and black and are decorated with the enchanting OMEGA Supernova pattern, diamonds and 18K gold holders. The polished hour, minute and seconds are also crafted from 18ct gold and the domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal is treated with anti-reflective material on both sides protecting the unique and beautiful dials.

As before the case size is 34mm and is available with either a polished or diamond-paved stainless steel bezel. This beautiful collection also features a single OMEGA diamond in the crown. The bi-colour Ladymatic watch is presented on an 18ct red or yellow gold and stainless steel bracelet, or on a satin-brushed white or brown leather strap.

Nicole Kidman is back in her starring role for the OMEGA Ladymatic in a beautiful new advert displaying the new models for 2013. She has worked with legendary photographer Peter Lindebergh to create a stunning new PR campaign for this new model that really shows of the beauty of the piece.

Tasked with the challenge of creating a watch that would be both visually stunning and feminine whilst not losing any of the technical features the Swiss watch brand is infamous for, resulted in OMEGA set out to create a timepiece that compliments the ladies tastes whilst not compromising on their want for beautifully engineered and highly accurate timekeeping. At its heart the Ladymatic features the OMEGA Co-Axial escapement movement, the component that in 1999 signalled a revolution for both OMEGA and the world. Each movement is equipped with OMEGA’s exclusive Si14 silicone balance spring, an innovation highly resistant to external shocks and environmental disturbances.

Each watch in the Ladymatic collection is an officially certified chronometer, and objective testimony to their outstanding timekeeping performance. The watch is also offered with a four year warranty.

The new additions to the OMEGA Ladymatic collection will be officially released at Basel later in the month and will hopefully be available towards the end of the year.

The Baselworld 2013 releases just keep getting more and more exciting!
